Also, Marriott Townplace Suites (3 story, 96 rooms, 52,000 Sq.Ft.) and Marriott Springhill Suites (4 story, 96 rooms, 61,000 Sq.Ft.) are currently under construction in The Township at Colony Park in Ridgeland, west of the subject. Residential developments are flourishing through Madison County with residences to accommodate most levels of income. Accessibility to major entertainment, shopping, dining, and business companies have been improved in recent years by the City of Ridgeland. Interstate 55 is currently in the process of widening lanes in between Ridgeland and Madison. The subject is also in immediate vicinity of US Highway 51, which has been experiencing similar growth as the before mentioned areas around the subject.
